This is the Copyright Agreement for the American Indian Law Review: At the request of the Editor-in-Chief of the Oklahoma Law Review, I hereby agree to the following terms. An individual work accepted for publication in the Oklahoma Law Review is a contribution to the collective work, the Oklahoma Law Review, and, therefore, the author of said individual work, pursuant to the Copyright Act of 1976, owns the copyright in each separate contribution to the collective work. Whereas, the Oklahoma Law Review is desirous of acquiring all right, title, and interest in and to any work published in the Oklahoma Law Review, the undersigned author, in consideration of publication of said work and other good and valuable consideration, has granted, assigned, and transferred and by these presents, does grant, assign, and transfer exclusively unto said Oklahoma Law Review for its use any and all rights of whatsoever kind or nature now or hereafter protected by the copyright laws (common or statutory) of the United States and all foreign countries in all languages in and to the said work, including all subsidiary rights. The Review has also entered into an agreement with West Publishing, Inc., to make each issue available on the Westlaw computer research service. In order to be able to include your article among those made available to Mead Data Central's LEXIS service and West Publishing's Westlaw service, we request that you enter into the following agreement relating to the publications of your article. 1. You grant the Oklahoma Law Review the nonexclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute and use, and to authorize the publication, reproduction, distribution and use of the article, including but not limited to copies of the issue of the Oklahoma Law Review in which the article first appears and any bound volumes including such issue, individual reprints, electronic media, computerized retrieval systems, and other similar forms. 2. You grant the Oklahoma Law Review the right to transfer or sublicense the rights granted in this agreement. 3. You represent and warrant that you have the full power and authority to enter into this agreement and to grant the rights stated above. You further warrant that your grant for publication has not infringed on the copyright of another.
