In Consideration of the analysis and other services and assistance performed by the Washburn Law Journal relative to the article described below or for its author,

Hereby Grant(s) to WASHBURN LAW JOURNAL and WASHBURN UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW the following licenses regarding the publication and use of




     (full and exact title of article or essay)

(1) the right to make necessary or appropriate editorial changes or corrections to the article in preparation for publication;

(2) the first right to print, publish, and distribute the above named article as part of a compilation identified as Volume of the Washburn Law Journal;

(3) a license to print, reprint, republish or use in any manner in part or in whole the article for purposes consistent with the mission, duties or obligations of the Washburn Law Journal or Washburn University School of Law, including copying for courses or coursepacks and including the right to license the article to computer assisted research services and to other online and offline electronic product services. It is understood that tabular or graphic material in the article that cannot be converted to computer display may be deleted. It is understood that such licensing will identify Author as the author of the work and Washburn Law Journal as the source in which the article was originally printed.

AUTHOR further agrees to credit the Washburn Law Journal as the original print source in any future republication of the article controlled by the author.

ALL RIGHTS not expressly granted to Washburn Law Journal or Washburn University School of Law are reserved to the author.

THIS AGREEMENT shall in no way limit rights the Washburn Law Journal or Washburn University School of Law may have regarding fair use of the article under 17 U.S.C. § 107 or Washburn Law Journal’s collective copyright under 17 U.S.C. § 201c.
